After more than a year, we are closing the Machynlleth Solidarity Fund.
It was a previously unimaginable year: responding to a global pandemic, building the Fund as a group of volunteers, and raising and redistributing cash locally for folks who needed it.
Whilst the world is not—and may never be—what it was before, it feels as though the Fund’s time has come to an end.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on the Fund itself and the wider needs of our community.
We’ve put together a quick survey (below) and we’ll also be in touch with some of you over the phone in the coming weeks to explore these questions with you.
In the meantime, we’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone that we’ve connected and created with over the past year for the support and care shown towards one another in our big-hearted community.
In love and solidarity,
The Machynlleth Solidarity Fund: Beth, Elena, Em, Hannah and Helen
